LIFE Groups
What is a Life Group?

Life Groups are small groups of up to 12 church members who meet ideally weekly or biweekly to encourage, support each other, form deeper relationship in an atmosphere of love, confidentiality and trust.  In a life group, prayer, worship, testimonies and a brief word is  shared, friendships are formed relationships are forged and a support system starts. They are base on relationship and fellowship.

Why do I need to be part of a Life Group?

Simply put, “we need one another.” God made us that way. He designed us to be His personal agents to encourage, challenge, and care for one another. “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:34-35).  Being in a life Group gives you the opportunity to connect with people at a deeper level.

When and where do Life Groups meet?

Each life group is composed of a life group leader and members up to 12 people.  They meet at a time and place that is convenient for the whole group. Ideally Life Groups meet for an hour in someone’s home. Developing significant relationships takes time and consistency—that’s why we encourage groups to meet every week.

What about childcare?

Each group will need to workout childcare, either as a group or individually.

What do Life Groups discuss or study together?

A life group meeting is a time to share testimonies, pray for one another, do activities to connect at a deeper level. It is not a time to hold a sermon but rather to form relationships.
